Stephen was the VFX supervisor for the epic two and a half minute opening sequence of the first episode as well as the opening asteroid impact shots for the final episode.

A feature film version called Dinotasia was released into theatres, utilizing used and unused footage from Dinosaur Revolution. It was designed to be closer to what Dinosaur Revolution was originally conceived as and narrated by Werner Herzog.
